Engineering Charity Work

On the 6th October 2007 our engineering department took on the 3554ft mountain Shiehallion all in the name of charity.

Steve Mantle, John Ritchie, David McKendry, Ian McMurdo & Frank Lang all walked one munro of the beautiful mountain.

They raised £500 for the Institute of Cancer Research and the company have generously doubled that figure, which brings us to a fabulous £1000 being donated to this wonderful charity.

A special thanks to everyone who sponsored the guys, purchased raffle tickets or bought the cakes that Sophie baked, and the girls in the office who organised the raffles.

Also a big thank you to McLean Tools for their donation and to Headlines Hair & Beauty who donated a voucher for a day of pampering for our raffle.

Most of all thank you to the Engineering Department for rising to the challenge.
