Make it in Scotland was initiated in 2000 through the Scottish Executive led Manufacturing Image Group involving leading representatives in industry.

Make it in Scotland is a national initiative delivered by Careers Scotland to raise awareness, interest and understanding of the industry to our young people. It concentrates on pupils aged 13 - 14 years old at a crucial stage in their education - when they are starting to make subject choices.

Blairs is proud to support this initiative through its annual roadshows. We donate seven days andfour staff each year, allowing pupils to build a window and helping them understand the opportunities that await them in the manufacturing sector.
