Blairs is proud to announce the launch of its new VORTEX Tilt and Turn European Casement Windows and Doors. The VORTEX range incorporates technological advances which allow the highest levels of weather performance as well as superior aesthetic qualities.

In tests, the VORTEX range withstood water and air pressures equivalent to a 140 mph hurricane. Built to withstand all that the unforgiving British weather can throw at it, our new Vortex range is ideal for a wide range of applications.

The VORTEX Tilt and Turn is a dual action, inward opening European casement window. The bottom hinged tilt mode provides good ventilation at the head of the window, whilst the side hung turn mode enables the sash to open inwards for cleaning and escape purposes.

The VORTEX Tilt and Turn range is manufactured from engineered timber which provides a combination of increased strength and enhanced aesthetics when compared to standard timber. Additionally, Secured By Design comes as standard for the entire range to give you the highest levels of security against intruders.

Important Guidance Note:

"When operated to the ventilation (tilt) position the sash provides a safety barrier. When operated for cleaning or for fire egress (turn) position an optional safety restrictor can be fitted."
